External wall & ceiling Insulation not only is a strict requirement of the latest Environmental laws called BASIX but is a great idea for the vast savings to your heating and cooling energy bills and there are so many products on the market that you can use.
Kitome supply a standard complying 'Batt' product from Bradford, yellow and you will see them poked into all the external wall frames.
Have to say that I am glade that the boys did this job, I think it would make my skin itch.
Kitome did not supply internal wall insulation and it is not a requirement of BASIX, however to make the home a MUCH higher standard of heating & cooling rating, I will have the boys install 'Earthwool' in ALL the internal walls. This is a pic of the product which you can buy from your local Bunnings store and it is not only for thermal but for acoustic issues, perfect between bedrooms & bathrooms etc.
