KATOOMBA COTTAGE UPDATE - ENJOY ;-)
I choose 300 wide 'Weather Tex' Cladding in the 'Millwood Smooth' pattern so that it would make the builders life easier and install faster but this is great!
Nathan has sent these pictures to me via his i-phone on the 5.1.12 and I can't wait to get up to Katoomba this weekend to take a bunch more photo's.
I can't believe how quickly this fabulous Cladding product can make the house really turn into the cottage look that I have had in my minds eye all along.
I am told that the trick to this product is to paint it before you install but again the weather was not kind and I will just have to paint it after it is all up.
You really must view the Weather Tex web site, it's great and the fellow speaking on the site is super eye candie for the Ladies ;-) www.weathertex.com.au. The boards are a natural compressed hardwood timber and NO chemical additives also Termite free. Check it out........
Another little trick which I have to insist you do is to paint the joiners before you install the boards, it's not at all hard, a touch boaring though the paint goes on very smoothly and you will end up with a much better result once the boards go together, easy!!!
The next time I am on site I will take closer photo's of the 'Weather Tex Millwood' pattern, it is I think the best for a cottage as it has the most traditional profile, it's lovely.
