Back on Track ;-)

KATOOMBA COTTAGE UPDATE - ENJOY ;-)

Hi again,
Well I have been super busy, out of the country and a tad sick and have had no time to update you here on the BLOG but I'm back and have lots of photo's for you now the weather has turned to the better and the boys are able to get on with the building works.

Now the below photo's date back to Feb 21st to 24th and are mostly of the roof being sheeted. I don't think there is a great lot that I can write about this but I believe the images will tell there own story and how great is it to have the roof on and the home being protected.

Above you can see the Gutters & Fascias are neatly installed also the Cladding is nearly complete around the house.

Looking over the Breakfast room to the neighbour on the North, both photo's above & below.

This photo shows the valley in the roof at the front door looking into Bed 1

The North side of the home and the roof is looking very sweet.

Above, the Eaves are staring to be installed
Below, I just love the front Verandah and how the roof line extends right across the carport

 More roof pic's ;-)

The Cladding is looking wonderful, really gives the house the homely Cottage feel.

Nathan feeling very at ease on the roof

The house is looking so cute now with the front bay windows and lovely wide entrance. The brick wall will be rendered and painted the same colour as the roof iron just to give a strong base feel. Also the pink strips you can see are Nathans creation to fix a joint issue where the cladding meets, Kitome do not supply anything for this Bay design so you have to come up with ideas yourself, good on Nathan!!!

Thank you for tuning in again and I will have a bunch of posts and a stack of photo's for you super soon as so much more has happened
